Travis Shilling was born in 1978 in Rama, Ontario. He is the youngest son, of the late, important First Nations Canadian artist, Arthur Shilling.As well as being self taught he has attended the Toronto School of Art, Toronto, Ontario and the Dundas Valley School of Art, Dundas, Ontario. Travis is an extraordinary talent and continues to develop and forge his own path as a painter and artist.

Film - Bear Tung - The artist has also branched out into filmmaking and playwriting. His short film Bear Tung, which featured aboriginal actor Gary Farmer, was a selection in the 2011 National Museum of American Indian in New York.
